Mutmachleute e.V. has received the Start Social scholarship this year.
This runs from November 2022 – February 2023.

The call for entries states: “The diverse commitment of voluntary helpers and supporters remains invisible far too often. Everyone knows: without them, human interaction would lack a lot of warmth. That is why the Lions Social Award wants to shine a light on those who belong in the spotlight with their exemplary commitment: show us the ideas and energetic examples with which you make difficult times easier for people – no matter what their age – alleviate social hardship or warm up everyday life.
This award for the #Mutmachleute is endowed with 1,000 euros.

The cultural prize “Der Grüne Wanninger” (The Green Wanninger), which has been awarded every year since 1988, has become a trademark of Green cultural work in its own right.
The prize “is intended to encourage people not to give up and to set visible accents. We Greens understand the promotion of art and culture as a mandate to promote in particular where zeitgeist and commerce are not enough, and we want to honour above all the social and political dimension.”
The award ceremony took place on 10 November 2019 from 11 am at the Schlossberghalle Starnberg.
